About The Position

ADP is hiring an Accountant Channel Sales Representative. This role focuses on closing sales and acquiring new business exclusively through our CPA accountant channel and client referrals within our Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO) business. You will participate in an award-winning training program and join a sales team dedicated to selling human resources solutions that enhance employees' lives through comprehensive benefits offerings from hire to retire. As a Sales Representative in the CPA channel, you will be assigned a portfolio of accounting firms and collaborate with sales representatives from the Small Business Services channel, potentially the majors mid-market division, and other CPA Sales Representatives. Your primary objective will be to leverage these internal partnerships to gain access to accounts and generate leads from their assigned accounting firms. Your daily activities will involve cultivating and nurturing relationships with CPAs, their clients, and internal partners to schedule appointments, gather leads, assess client needs, and present optimal ADP solutions. Success in this role requires managing multiple sales processes concurrently through various stages and meticulously documenting them. In addition to closing new business, you will also be responsible for overseeing the implementation process for newly sold business until clients are fully operational on the solutions. Requirements

  • Positive Self-Starter with an upbeat, persistent style and the ability to follow-up on leads without fear of rejection.
  • Ability to manage time well, prioritize deliverables, and multi-task effectively.
  • Ability to present ideas clearly and professionally in writing, in-person, and over the phone.
  • Established network and experience carrying a quota in outside business-to-business sales.
  • Impressive track record of closing sales, winning clients, and managing a territory and relationships.
  • Ambitious spirit and ability to thrive under pressure, motivating you to not only hit sales quotas but exceed them.
  • Payroll experience, relationship sales experience, or HRO experience.
  • Military experience is recognized for the unique talents and experiences Veterans bring.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with accounting firms through business partnerships with internal ADP partners.
  • Educate accounting firms on Human Resources Outsourcing solutions for their clients.
  • Implement a top-down sales strategy including industry updates, Continuing Professional Education (CPE) offerings, and benchmarking.
  • Run CPA experience meetings to close sales, win business, and achieve sales goals.
  • Help clients understand their needs and recommend the right solutions to solve them.
  • Earn referral business through networking with existing and new clients.
  • Forge partnerships in-person and over the phone with decision-makers.
  • Strategically cross-sell with other ADP associates to cultivate additional business within existing accounts.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to accountants, internal partners, and the overall network.
  • Demonstrate grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards.
