About The Position

Toaster seeks an ambitious and eager individual to join our account management and new business team. This role will divide their time between servicing our teams across multiple clients and supporting the Account & New Business Director in new business initiatives. As part of the Client Management team, you play a central role in the business and are pivotal to the smooth running of your account(s). You will manage projects from brief to final delivery in collaboration with other departments. You will be client-focused and require good communication, organization and time management skills to manage your clients and internal departments while always focusing on quality, process and profitability. You must be self-motivated and focused on driving business development and building client relationships to ensure strategic business growth through lead generation and the end-to-end pitch process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with global tech clients
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting
  • Strong time management/prioritisation skills
  • Capable of managing projects independently
  • Confident communicator to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Strong IT literacy, including experience working professionally with all Google platforms, such as Docs, Sheets and Slides
  • Ability to foster warm, prosperous client relationships

Responsibilities

  • Immerse yourself in your client's brand and offering.
  • Expertly liaise between clients and internal production/creative teams to ensure all parties have reasonable expectations and get what they need.
  • Set and manage client expectations, deliverables and timeframes.
  • Ensure clients understand agreed workflows and manage them through the process.
  • Identify training requirements and opportunities for clients to ensure process adherence and improve workflow.
  • Escalate all serious client issues to your line manager immediately and recommend solutions wherever possible.
  • Identify areas for improvement of existing workflow and processes which could benefit Toaster and/or the client.
  • Communication is key to building strong, day-to-day relationships with all clients and agency stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate ability to write, prepare, and present as well as analyse and interrogate documents/ briefs, presentations, and reports tailored to each client, as well as their style, preference, knowledge, and experience.
  • Coordinate monthly operational review meetings with the client or as agreed with the client.
  • Provide weekly status reports to clients (or at intervals pre-agreed upon with the client), accompanied by a meeting or call as per client needs.
  • Provide agendas and detailed contact reports following all client meetings (face-to-face and phone calls).
  • Supporting new business leads and the management of delivery of RFIs and RFPs.
  • Project manage and/or support the development of pitch collateral, case studies, and credentials.
  • Support the pitch team in various functions, including production, facilitating workshops and brainstorms, competitive research, data requirements, and logistics.
