About The Position

Gregory - one of the nation’s top 40 largest PR firms, and named to PRWeek's Best Places to Work list - is looking for an experienced and ambitious Account Supervisor to join our team! We are looking for a team member with strong media relations, client communications and project management skills, and energetic about representing the firm on an industry level. Candidates must be in commuting distance to our Boston or New York area offices.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of PR experience
  • An undergraduate degree in communications, public relations, journalism, English, or a similar major.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and operational and productivity tools
  • Understanding of AI and how it can support work

Responsibilities

  • Manage and align daily activities to assure quality standards and to reach client expectations.
  • Monitor media, share trending news stories with the team and strategically capitalize on the news flow.
  • Conduct media outreach at a high level of impact.
  • They save moderately difficult media assignments for themselves while delegating others to team members according to skills and abilities.
  • Actively participate in the management of the team’s development of daily media queries, add and align against client narrative.
  • Build relationships with clients and serve as the “go to” for client suggestions and inquiries.
  • Write strategic press releases, blog posts, media queries, and social media posts.
  • Have a high level of skill and understanding of productivity, media monitoring and media relations tools.
  • Lead internal training events.
  • Stay current and add to personal understanding of issues, processes, terms, products, and regulations specific to clients’ industries.
  • Provide feedback to VP/SVP on issues of strategic direction, competitive threats and changes in the public relations landscape.
  • Attend client and industry events, conferences, etc. Share findings and conclusions.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives and support firm and team lead, as requested.
  • Identify and refer any and all issues, risks and concerns to the VP.
  • All other tasks as assigned.
