About The Position

The Account Supervisor works with the Account Management Team in managing day-to-day execution of Agency and client projects for a specific portfolio of clients. Under general direction of Directors and EVP, the Account Supervisor should know and have a clear understanding of the client’s overall business, marketing initiatives, and competitive landscape, in order to manage and oversee all details relating to plan development and execution. The Account Supervisor is self-motivated, well-organized, able to multi-task in a high pressure environment, and demonstrates exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The Account Supervisor can speak intelligently and articulately about the marketing challenges facing the client. The Account Supervisor is an effective and diplomatic problem solver and is adept at anticipating problems and recognizing opportunities. This person is a conscientious team player, a good organizer, and also demonstrates excellent accountability, initiative, and a take-charge attitude. They build strong client relationships, as well as assisting the project management team in building strong and collaborative internal working relationships. They focus on continual growth opportunities and potential.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Account Management or Project Management experience in an agency or marketing-related setting.
  • Proficient with industry tools and systems.
  • Has a strong understanding of marketing and media fundamentals including media math.
  • Successfully complete Google Analytics Certification coursework within six months in position, then renew yearly.
  • Proven ability to think strategically, use critical thinking, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Exhibit advanced strategic direction and risk management for assigned portfolios of clients due to their advanced knowledge of True Media processes, account management skills, and knowledge of media strategy.
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Degree or concentration in advertising, marketing or communications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies new revenue streams and other client growth opportunities. Is able to clearly articulate the opportunity and a strong business case POV to sell it in.
  • Review any opportunities provided by the Account Manager or Assistant Account Manager. Put the opportunity into action by attaching a next step and expertly moving the opportunity forward.
  • Maintain current and accurate time records related to all functions of agency and client work assignments in the Advantage software system.
  • Attends internal training, online conferences, seminars, and travels to client locations when needed.
  • Actively seeks out growth and learning opportunities.
  • Preserves and fosters the agency’s culture and maintains a positive and forward-thinking attitude.
  • Delegates effectively and smartly, while respecting agency RACI and processes/procedures.
