JOB SUMMARY The Account Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing partner accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring partner satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to create, build and maintain relationships with partners. The Departments they will work with on a regular basis include but are not limited to: Executive Leadership Team, Senior Leadership Team, EPMO, Operations, Underwriting, Business Intelligence, Claims, Commercial, Account Services, Legal, Claims and Marketing. JOB DETAILS Location: Indianapolis, IN Hybrid Work Schedule Relocation Expenses Reimbursed: No Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. IMG will not be providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in customer service, sales, or account management role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Primary focus will be driving growth of International Long-Term Group Medical Insurance within the Mission business segment.
  • Build positive relationships with producers, distributors, and customers to ensure continued interest in IMG's products and services.
  • Serve as New Business sales representative for assigned partner accounts.
  • Identify opportunities for selling upselling or cross-selling products or services to partners.
  • Create, build and maintain strong, long-lasting partner relationships.
  • Address partner issues and concerns promptly and effectively, escalating complex issues to management as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in sales, marketing, underwriting, and customer service to deliver integrated solutions and provide seamless customer experience.
  • Participating in sales meetings as appropriate and providing input for generating sales.
  • Share market intelligence and customer feedback to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the insurance products and services offered by IMG, including knowledge of coverage options, pricing, and policy details.
  • Stay updated on the features, benefits, and coverage options of IMG’s insurance products.
  • Provide training and support to partners and their staff to help them effectively market and sell insurance products to their customers.
  • Provide training and support to partners on using online portals, submitting claims electronically, and accessing support resources.
  • Coordinate with Sr. Account Manager on New Business applications to insure proposals, applications, and invoices are accurate and processed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that clients understand policy terms and conditions, including coverage limits, exclusions, and claim and administrative procedures.
  • Updates CRM tools (Salesforce.com) and ensures that call priorities and new business opportunities are tracked in CRM.
