The Account Specialist I role plays an important role in Mobile Solutions working with OEM customers in a variety of ways. This role offers great opportunity for learning, growth, and development within the organization. This position works directly with internal teams as well as external customers in support of the Mobile Solutions Sales team. This role is suited for someone who is well organized and detail oriented. The position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, allowing them to develop customer relationships resulting in profitable sales. Qualified candidates must be able to work a hybrid schedule at our Bloomington, MN office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1+ year of experience working in a customer-facing role

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain long-term customer relationships with focus on stellar customer experience.
  • Prepare quotations for customers and ensure thorough and timely follow up with the customer.
  • Prepare basic revenue performance analysis (price, margin, cost) and propose price.
  • Complete internal sales tasks with limited direction from Account Manager/Supervisor.
  • Receive and process customer inquiries in relation to pricing, lead-time, product offering, and complaints through efficient, prompt, and friendly professional communication.
  • Support APD project tasks (streamline, derivative, import, paint & pack): internal and external meetings, follow-up, meet customers’ deadlines.
  • Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
