Account Specialist/Customer Service - Japanese Required
About The Position
We are seeking a motivated Account Specialist / Customer Service Representative to join our team due to continued business growth and new client acquisitions. After completing training, you will primarily manage three Japanese-speaking corporate accounts while serving as the main point of contact for customer support and logistics coordination. During the training period, you will gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations—including order processing, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management—to develop a solid understanding of logistics operations and provide effective solutions to clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy customer service, logistics, and working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Professional-level Japanese language proficiency
- Basic English communication skills
- Basic Excel skills (formulas required; VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP experience is a plus)
- Comfortable using computers and general office software
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable

Responsibilities
- Manage assigned corporate customer accounts
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Coordinate with vendors and transportation companies
- Communicate with headquarters in Japan
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations
- Update and maintain internal operating systems
- Assist with process improvements and operational support
- Process shipping and receiving orders
- Coordinate import/export forwarding procedures
- Prepare shipping documents for domestic and international shipments
- Generate shipping lists and operational reports
- Monitor inventory movements and inventory accuracy
- Perform picking, packing, labeling, and other warehouse support duties as needed
