About The Position

The Account Services Representative I will be responsible for supporting the Account Services department’s operational functions. This individual is dedicated to meeting our Member’s financial needs and meeting individual and Credit Union specific goals. Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos
Ability to write basic correspondence
Ability to present information in one-on-one in small group situations to members and other employees of the organization
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and/or interpret different types of graphs and charts
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, and diagram form (charts and graphs)
Ability to deal with minor problem solving and provide solutions
In the initial development stage learning the features and functions of the USERS system
Some basic use of Microsoft Office i.e. Word and Excel
Ability to work well with members, co-workers, and supervisors
Acceptance and willingness to handle responsibility

Nice To Haves

A minimum of six months related experience within a financial institution or previous cash handling experience preferred

Responsibilities

Reviews and approves of ATM and Mobile deposits
Processes incoming USPS mail, Lockbox, Verifications of Deposit (VOD), IP Capture and Opening/Modifying Accounts
Conducts deposit risk assessment and reviews various risk management reports
Uses sound judgment while balancing the loyal relationships of Members with a dedicated focus on protecting the assets of the Credit Union.
