Account Representative-Full Time – Physical Therapy – Days
About The Position
Make a lasting impression on patients at New York-Presbyterian as an account representative. Responsible for insurance verification, submissions for authorization, and reauthorization for rehabilitation therapies. Cross trains with registrars to registrar, check in, and schedule patients. Assist patients with questions and concerns. Join a supportive team and help us deliver superior customer service to our local community. This is a day shift position at 329 White Plains Rd., Eastchester, NY. Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Insurance verification experience
- Strong computer skills
- Effective Communication
