About The Position

The Account Representative - Production is responsible for maintaining positive and professional working relationships with assigned builder accounts; remains in constant contact with internal and external customers to facilitate flooring installs for homes under construction. This position reports to the Account Manager. Candidates for this position should thrive on meeting constant deadlines, multi-tasking and problem solving in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of the flooring industry is not a requirement but highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process and schedule all new flooring installs for assigned accounts; includes deciphering customer design selections and reconciling purchase orders for products chosen for install
• Key work orders with high level of accuracy, providing all install related products, labor and notes for flooring installers
• Heavy internal & external communication; responses required in a timely manner with ability to constantly re-prioritize task lists
• Access and organize online portals as necessary per customer requirements
• Ability to work as a team, including willingness to engage in continued training as recommended by management
• Maintain open order reports weekly, requiring follow up with customer for requested purchase orders and revisions
