We are looking to expand our Group Benefits team by hiring an Account Representative. This role will focus on providing customer service and renewal assistance for Gilsbar clients within the designated block of business. The perfect candidate for this position will possess a positive attitude with a keen eye for detail, a creative mindset, and a strong passion for advocating for customers. Additionally, they should be capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively across different departments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to adhere to a work schedule and work independently in a remote/hybrid setting.
• Proficient verbal and non-verbal communication skills; able to read and interpret documents and produce correspondences.

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of experience preferred, but not required.
• Health & Life License Required, Gilsbar will pay for certification and testing for the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and monitor the renewal process for an assigned block of business.
• Collaborates with colleagues to devise strategies for account renewals and oversee the market assessment process.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the benefit-related products offered by Gilsbar and participate in product training session.
• Engage with clients, producers, carriers, and other departments to discuss policy language and coverage details.
• Serve as primary contact and resource for clients, assisting plan participants with inquiries about enrollment, coverage and other related topics.
