About The Position

BloomNet is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Account Relationship Manager to support and grow our network of florists throughout the Greater Philadelphia Territory, including Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and Delaware. This is a field-based role ideal for someone who thrives on building strong partnerships, delivering value-driven solutions, and independently managing a geographic sales territory. As an Account Relationship Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to BloomNet's florist partners. You will help customers maximize their businesses through BloomNet's products, services, and programs while supporting long-term customer success, retention, account health, and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Two to three years of experience in outside sales, territory sales, account management, business development, customer success, or another customer-facing role.
  • Demonstrated success managing customer relationships, growing accounts, and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong consultative selling, relationship-building, negotiation, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-first mindset with the ability to build trusted partnerships and identify solutions that support customer success and business growth.
  • Strong accountability, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to strategically manage a geographic sales territory.
  • Comfortable learning and using new systems and technology.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms; Salesforce experience is strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are strongly preferred.
  • Residence within the Greater Philadelphia territory is preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently, up to 75% of the time, throughout Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and Delaware.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with florist partners throughout Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and Delaware.
  • Conduct regular in-person and virtual customer visits to educate florists on BloomNet's products, services, and programs while identifying opportunities to strengthen customer relationships.
  • Manage and support an established portfolio of florist accounts while driving customer retention, engagement, and account growth.
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory management and follow-up plan based on customer needs, market opportunities, and geographic location.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships through BloomNet products, services, and programs.
  • Prospect for and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory through consultative selling, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Serve as a trusted business advisor by understanding each customer's business, operational challenges, and growth opportunities while recommending value-driven solutions.
  • Provide ongoing operational and strategic support to florist partners to ensure long-term customer success.
  • Maintain consistent communication and follow-through while independently managing a customer portfolio and travel schedule.
  • Stay informed on floral industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to effectively position BloomNet's offerings.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage customer relationships, maintain an accurate sales pipeline, document customer interactions, and report performance metrics.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Service, Product, and Operations teams to support customer success.
  • Represent BloomNet at trade shows, industry events, and customer-facing activities throughout the territory.
  • Share customer insights, market intelligence, and best practices with teammates to contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team.
