What You’ll Be Doing: Responsible for reviewing and processing accounts payable invoices for all Equity Residential corporate departments and Equity Residential operating partnership. Assists Accounts Payable Supervisor/Corporate Accounting Manager and Senior & Staff Accountants. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Assists with the payment of all real estate and personal property tax bills. File invoices and any supporting documents Maintains sales and use tax data on a weekly basis Handles vendor calls regarding payments status and/or discrepancies. Maintains on-site and off-site accounts payable files. Assists auditors in locating files as needed. Assists with the year end 1099 processing. Assists in various projects utilizing Excel. Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times. Consistently maintains a professional courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers and the general public.
