About The Position

We are happy to announce a full-time, licensed 2-20, Account Manager (Property and Casualty) position filled with many exciting opportunities! In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the FrankCrum business everyday by being responsible for the day-to-day management of our mid-sized to largest and most complex client accounts. Play an essential role in business retention by building, expanding, and solidifying business relationships with existing and new clients based on your assigned book of business. You will have retention goals. Determine risk requirements by analyzing coverages, exposures, and loss experience. Take the necessary steps in placing coverage(s) required by the client, re-marketing when required, and adhering to binding authority set by the carriers. Negotiate with underwriters and carriers. Prepare and issue summaries of insurance, proposals, and binders of insurance. Answers customer questions regarding products and services by quickly diagnosing and solving the problem(s). Upselling and cross-selling opportunities by the sale of additional coverage(s) to clients to enhance client retention and relationship management. Provide marketing support to new business production and renewals when required. Handle day to day client inquiries and policy servicing (policy changes, endorsements, policy checking, contract reviews, etc.). Act as the first point of contact to the Customer Services Assistants by managing and directing them on how to handle inquiries, servicing, etc. and allocating the work amount between them. Assist Agency Manager with interviewing, selecting, and training employees. Provide insurance consultation or expert advice and ideas to the Agency Manager. Attend client meetings as required. Must keep current with insurance markets and changing coverages within the industry, including participating in insurer networking events.

Requirements

  • Florida 2-20 General Lines License in good standing
  • three (3) years of commercial insurance industry experience

Nice To Haves

  • Insurance Designation such as AAI, CIC, CPCU or other certifications/designations highly valued
  • knowledge of AMS360 considered an asset
