About The Position

EDS Service Solutions is seeking a hands-on Account Manager to join its management team at Lihue Airport (LIH). This operations-driven role focuses on managing teams, training staff, and overseeing daily operational workflows. The role is based in Kapaʻa, Hawaii, and is full-time, with a base salary of $70,000 annually. The position oversees airport operations and staff, supports client relationships, and handles scheduling, payroll, workforce planning, and operational reporting. The Account Manager must have open availability, including weekends and holidays, and may need to cover shifts to maintain operational continuity.

Requirements

At least 2 years of progressive leadership experience managing operations or teams.
Proven experience training staff and managing multiple roles.
Strong background in client relationship management and problem-solving.
Experience with recruiting, hiring, retention, and performance management.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid driver’s license.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Open availability, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Car rental or airport operations experience.
Bilingual in English and Hawaiian and/or Tagalog.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily airport operations, including cleaning, driving, and car movement activities.
Maintain high productivity and performance standards for VSAs, drivers, and support staff.
Provide hands-on training and mentorship to supervisors, leads, and administrative personnel.
Resolve client issues.
Cover shifts as needed to support operational continuity.
Monitor compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
Manage scheduling, shift coverage, and payroll for operational staff.
Conduct workforce planning and forecasting to meet service demands.
Attend client meetings to review performance and operational needs.
Maintain operational and productivity reports for management review.
