About The Position

The Account Manager is responsible for managing, developing, and growing strategic retail and wholesale accounts. As our preferred candidate you’ll drive revenue growth, develop strong customer partnerships, and collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality berries to customers. The position will focus on achieving customer specific goals and Naturipe Farms Strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or relevant experience with 5 years minimum produce industry.
  • Ability to act independently and make competent decisions without supervision.
  • Must have excellent computer skills with knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Itrade, Procurant and SAP helpful
  • Individual must be detail oriented and an effective communicator to others
  • Team player striving for the benefit of the team
  • Available after hours and weekends as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Prior berry sales experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with existing Naturipe Farms accounts and grow these accounts in accordance with Naturipe Farms Strategic Sales Plan.
  • Conduct sales calls, schedule promotional volumes and prices, monitor sales to identify new and organic growth opportunities in accordance with our Strategic Sales Plan.
  • Propose customer visit schedule with meeting purpose and agendas to advance relationship.
  • Prepare and propose annual sales plan/budget by account by product for review with Sales Directors.
  • Propose and execute retail digital activations to penetrate e-commerce retail promotions.
  • Present and effectively execute company’s marketing initiatives to Retail Trade.
  • Provide quarterly evaluations of customer to the Sales leadership team with recommendations to increase organic growth.
  • Accountable for accurate order entry into company system and monitor status of orders.
  • Maintain awareness of the competitive environment communicating trends to leadership to achieve market leadership.
  • Able to respond to unexpected supply changes by formulating plans to ensure client’s needs are met.
  • Expected to participate in department meetings and video conference calls.
  • Partner with Finance to assure prompt collection of assigned account receivables.
  • Provides backup as needed to other Account Managers/Product Managers during their absence.
