About The Position

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing assigned accounts, communicating regularly with clients, and responding to their queries. This role is essential in achieving strategic account objectives, building long-term client relationships, and driving sales within the companys product or service offerings. This role will specialize in Camera and Lens.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manages assigned accounts.
  • Communicates with clients on a regular basis and respond to specific queries.
  • Achieves assigned strategic account objectives.
  • Establishes strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Performs a wide variety of duties aimed at achieving sales goals by selling the company's products or services for applicable divisions.
  • May sell through different channels, such as Government Sales, Multi-Channel and Distribution/Retail.
  • Executes sales plans, develops new accounts, maintains relationships and expands existing accounts within an assigned sales territory and/or product line.
  • Creates awareness and demand for the company's product.
  • May manage and coordinate the sales and technical team in support of the sale of the company's products.
  • May also be called on as a technical product expert to develop and present sales proposals and systems solutions, and close complex technical sales.
  • Possesses specialized knowledge or skills in a particular functional area.
  • A fully qualified, seasoned professional with a full understanding of the job role who works on more complicated issues facing the department.
  • Receives general instruction from manager on new assignments but little to no direction in day-to-day work.
  • Typically reports to a Manager or Senior Manager, and may mentor one or two less experienced professional staff.
