About The Position

The Account Manager plays a critical role in fueling growth for our alcohol beverage customers, partnering with some of the most recognized and innovative brands in the industry. This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, customer partnership, and innovation—driving profitable growth across a portfolio of high‑value, strategic accounts. As the primary owner of customer relationships, the Account Manager identifies new opportunities, develops and executes strategic account plans, and delivers value‑based solutions that help customers win in a dynamic and highly competitive marketplace. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, this role owns sales P&L for assigned accounts and works cross‑functionally to bring bold ideas, differentiated solutions, and measurable results to life. This role requires 50% travel and can be remote within the United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive account management experience, including managing large or complex accounts
  • Experience supporting customers in the alcohol beverage industry or adjacent CPG markets preferred
  • Proven ability to manage strategic customer relationships and drive commercial outcomes
  • Advanced negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using CRM tools and data‑driven decision‑making at a strategic level
  • Technical or industry‑specific expertise in the beverage flavor space

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of key strategic alcohol beverage customer accounts to deliver revenue and margin targets
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with organizational growth priorities
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs within the alcohol beverage industry to identify and prioritize new business opportunities
  • Own sales P&L for assigned accounts, driving profitability and margin expansion
  • Forecast sales performance and growth metrics; prepare and present account performance updates to senior management
  • Build and maintain long‑term, trust‑based relationships with senior client stakeholders, including C‑suite
  • Act as a trusted advisor by providing insights and recommendations that support customer brand and business objectives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and through strategic partnerships
  • Lead complex contract negotiations and long‑term supply agreements
  • Ensure compliance with pricing strategies, margin targets, and legal and commercial standards
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, R&D, operations, and other teams to deliver innovative solutions and seamless customer experiences
  • Lead client‑facing initiatives and resolve complex customer issues
