Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) from four-year college or university.
  • Two years of direct sales experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs.
  • Ability to communicate well and work with customers.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English and Chinese (verbal/written).
  • Communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Must possess a reliable means of transportation to and from work.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years within a semiconductor fab or semiconductor materials/equipment supplier.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret, distill, and present complicated and/or technical information to fellow staff, customers, and others in understandable and relatable terms to aid and enhance levels of understanding and implementation.
  • Use and operate a computer, office equipment and other technology devices frequently and consistently throughout each day with a high degree of skill, accuracy, and independent judgment for the purpose of reviewing, analyzing, creating, transmitting, and presenting documents, data, and other business-related information.
  • Support Sales Manager in carrying out the Sales goals of the company.
  • Work with customers to determine their product needs.
  • Work with Manufacturing Dept., Quality Assurance (QA) Dept., and suppliers to introduce products to customers and support/coordinate R&D activity.
  • Collect and communicate marketing information to Sales Manager.
  • Arrange and oversee deliveries of sample products to customers.
  • Support customer supply line with other internal departments.
  • Establish pricing levels for all new and existing products with Sales Manager.
  • Generate and issue call reports for customer meetings and weekly reports.
  • Generate monthly sales reports.
  • Generate yearly sales forecast and gap analysis compared to sales result for each assigned account for Sales Manager.
  • Provide accurate monthly customer forecasts to Material Planning department.
  • Enforce contractual agreements with approval by Sales Manager.
  • Coordinate activities with internal departments (from ordering to manufacturing to delivery).
  • Coordinate and oversee emergency deliveries to customers.
  • Work with customers and cross-functional teams including QA, Sales Operations, Manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve customer issues and concerns.
  • Work with Accounting and Sales Operations team to collect on customers’ unpaid invoices.
  • Plan for the build-up of consignment inventory in coordination with the Material Planning department and Sales Operations team, examines the customer’s purchase orders, and support inventory management activities.
  • Negotiate the sale of excess inventory to customers.
  • Attend conferences to promote Company products and image.
  • Actively demonstrate high levels of employee engagement, coachability (e.g., receiving and incorporating business-related feedback and instruction with a positive and growth-oriented mindset) to achieve desired outcomes, and accountability for personal performance and its impact on others' ability to do their job well.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.
