About The Position

The Account Manager serves as a liaison between Steinwall and its customers. This position is responsible for receiving and entering customer purchase orders and forecasts into Steinwall’s ERP system, tracking orders through the system, and ensuring timely product delivery. The Account Manager builds and maintains strong customer relationships and communicates effectively with both internal teams and external customers to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree with emphasis in communications, business, or other related field, or 4-6 years customer service experience

  • Previous EDI experience
  • Previous experience with an ERP system (IQMS a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Enters purchase orders, sales forecasts, and stocking agreements into ERP system
  • Communicates customer requests, requirements, and demand changes to the appropriate internal departments
  • Monitors order progress and proactively communicates updates, delays, or changes to customers
  • Initiates and monitors projects to ensure customers’ expectations are being met
  • Initiates quotes for new projects or repricing events
  • Manages accounts receivables by contacting customers when payments are past due
  • Supports order prioritization by communicating customer needs to the production scheduler
  • Serves as a strong advocate for the customer, ensuring high levels of satisfaction while building and maintaining positive, long-term relationships
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date customer records and documentation
