About The Position

Bacardi is seeking an Account Manager to lead meetings with key accounts, presenting Bacardi products and services. This role requires a deep understanding of customer business processes, plans, needs, and critical success factors, as well as the competitive landscape. The Account Manager will be responsible for ensuring quarterly objectives and KPIs are met, executing brand education and engagement programs, and collaborating cross-functionally to maximize performance and sales. Key responsibilities include developing and executing promotional activations, programs, new distribution, menu placements, drink features, and educating customer staff on the Bacardi portfolio. The role also involves executing at local events, participating in national initiatives (often in the evening or on weekends), tracking activities, and submitting reports on KPI progress, account visits, trainings, wins, competitive activities, and special projects. Efficient management of T&E and monthly activation budgets is crucial, as is participation in market commercial planning and team meetings. The goal is to deliver year-over-year growth within the assigned account list while meeting monthly KPIs. The Account Manager must understand customer strategic business challenges and priorities and act as a role model for Compliance and Ethics, embodying Bacardi’s core values of fearless, family, and demonstrating a founder’s mentality.

Requirements

  • Proven success in a similar role.
  • Passionate and influential relationship manager.
  • Influential communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable giving presentations in front of small groups of people including executives, Bacardi primos, vendors and customers (both internal and external) at all levels of an organization.
  • Well organized, an independent thinker, likes to multitask.
  • Confident in ability to conduct yourself in an ethical and professional manner consistent with company values.
  • Ability to analyze available information for the purposes of preparing reports, coordinating efforts and solving problems.
  • Effectively use a consultative selling approach.
  • Effectively survey an account using the 7 steps to a sales call.
  • Ability to effectively manage your time and prioritize goals and opportunities.
  • Computer proficient working in MS Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to use advanced computer functions, including navigating the Internet.
  • Understanding of bartending and cocktailing.
  • A vehicle is required for this position.

  • Submit reports to include KPI progress, account visits, trainings, wins, competitive activities, and special projects.
  • Efficiently manage T&E budget as well as monthly activation budget.
  • Participate in overall market commercial planning which may include weekly and monthly team meetings.
