About The Position

Altair Data is a data and analytics partner helping organizations make smarter marketing and risk decisions through advanced modeling, curated data assets, and strategic consulting. The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of client relationships. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring successful execution of data-driven solutions while identifying opportunities to expand engagement. The ideal candidate is consultative, detail-oriented, commercially minded, and comfortable working at the intersection of data, marketing, and analytics.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of experience in account management, client services, or consultative sales
  • Experience in data, analytics, credit, marketing services, or financial services strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Comfort discussing data, modeling concepts, and performance metrics
  • Proven ability to grow revenue within existing accounts
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to predictive modeling, risk models, or decision science environments
  • Experience working with credit bureau data, alternative data, or marketing data
  • Familiarity with direct mail, digital marketing, or customer acquisition programs
  • Experience supporting clients in regulated industries

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned client accounts
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business goals, KPIs, and decisioning strategies
  • Coordinate internal resources (data science, analytics, operations) to deliver projects on time and on scope
  • Manage campaign timelines, deliverables, and client communications
  • Translate technical concepts (model outputs, data strategy, segmentation) into clear business insights
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities including additional data assets, model refreshes, and expanded decisioning solutions
  • Support proposal development, pricing discussions, and SOW creation
  • Monitor account performance and proactively recommend optimizations
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline updates in CRM
