About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our growing team. This individual would have experience with new program development and implementation, account growth, and strategic account planning. Strong candidates will bring a background in metal fabrication and/or experience with medical product manufacturing. The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing key customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction, profitability, and alignment with company goals. This role requires a technically sound engineering background with the ability to navigate complex customer communications.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed customer performance plans and strategic objectives for assigned accounts.
  • Develop professional relationships to foster a positive customer experience
  • Facilitate impactful customer meetings to review successes, address challenges, and to collaboratively develop strategic solutions.
  • Manage customer terms in alignment with company standards.
  • Monitor and manage customer scorecards related to on-time delivery and quality expectations.
  • Analyze customer data to identify behavioral patterns, track progress, forecast demand, and measure performance against goals.
  • Stay informed about market developments, competitor activities, and emerging technologies that may impact customer business.
  • Maintain accurate account information within the company ERP and CRM systems, including forecasting, contact details, and other key data.
  • Manage the quoting process for expanded business opportunities: solicit RFQs, prepare quotes in the ERP system, review profitability, and ensure timely submission to customers. Follow up to close opportunities and document outcomes.
  • Maintain thorough communication records and sales activity within CRM and/or the sales funnel.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including support services and management, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
