About The Position

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Rexel team in Houston, TX! Summary: The Account Manager is responsible for serving as an overall manager of assigned accounts including customer’s corporate relationships, contracts and compliance, expansion / renewal opportunities, pricing strategies, identification, and escalation of operational issues.

Requirements

5+ years of related experience
Distribution/wholesales sales experience for large industrial customers
High School or GED - Required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Ability to present to executive level resources at key customers
Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
Commitment to quality and strong customer focus
Ability to travel in assigned territory
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Nice To Haves

4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

Responsibilities

Grow sales for account customers to achieve budgeted sales and margin objectives
Pursue contract renewals to maximize profitable sales growth
Primary measurements include: sales growth, operating knowledge of customers, and strategy development
Coordinate Rexel’s other internal functions to support the customer: Pricing, Legal, Strategic Sourcing, Branch transactional
Other duties as assigned
