About The Position

As an Account Manager (AM), you will be the primary point of contact for clients, responsible for client onboarding, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction and retention. You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts through upselling and cross selling our solutions, while coordinating with internal teams to deliver products and services that meet client needs. Ensuring the timely and successful implementation of products and services is a critical component of this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or sales
  • 2-4 years account management experience, preferably within SASS software
  • Automotive experience is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and particularly skilled in excel, word and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be willing to travel multiple days per week to see clients

Responsibilities

  • Onboard and train new customers to successfully utilize our solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery processes, enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Regularly conduct onsite customer visits to proactively contact customers to keep them informed about our services, gauge their system utilization and training needs, conduct onsite training assistance, notify them of upcoming changes, and other relevant information.
  • Drive account growth by nurturing your customer accounts to best identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services.
  • Conduct discovery to identify customer business needs and qualify them for sales follow-up.
  • Work with your direct manager and the sales team to develop strategies for account expansion.
  • Follow our sales process and lead with insight to educate customers on how we can help their business grow profitably.
  • Effectively communicate the benefits that our solutions and services can provide to our customers.
  • Build strong business relationships with key stakeholders in your territory.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com and other technology tools, to ensure standard processes are followed during client visits, implementation, lead qualification, opportunity creation, and the sales process.
  • Collaborate and support your team members to ensure we help our customers drive business success.
  • Partner closely with the sales and marketing organizations for campaign alignment.
