Seeking a highly motivated individual for the Account manager position. In this role, the inside sales representative is responsible for qualifying leads and prospecting through existing business accounts to engage with potential customers. This role is located on-site in Lincoln, NE

Requirements

  • Ability to successfully speak to a variety of professionals in diverse law enforcement and other settings
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work and build relationships with key prospects and high-level executives
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter and being self-motivated
  • Ability to work well with members of the sales team, key members of leadership, and other teams to drive sales in assigned territory
  • Detail-oriented to calculate quotations and order quantities correctly and accurately enter them into a database
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • College degree or equivalent education and work experience
  • Experience managing a sales renewal process

  • Government sales, or specifically law enforcement, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture existing book of business
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with customers and contacts
  • Coordinating with Territory Sales Managers and proactively contacting customers prior to software maintenance renewals
  • Create quotes based upon customer needs
  • Proactive outreach to ensure product adoption /usage/positive results of Penlink product
  • Conduct outreach to customers from Webinars, Tradeshows, and other marketing developed leads
  • Identify customers who could use add on features of our software
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Work with Customer Support and Territory Managers to provide product technical information and demonstration
  • Keep up to date on market trends and news from the industry, our competitors, and our target market
  • Relay market needs and requirements back to internal sales teams including Sales, Operations and Product Management
  • Other duties assigned
