About The Position

Functional Overview: Account Manager (AM) is responsible for account management duties for all existing direct and distribution customers. AM will focus on cross-selling, up-selling and prospecting for additional GP opportunities. AM will build customer retention through customer service, relationship building and converting existing customers to new products. Additional tasks include assisting with marketing, survey and other customer related activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 6 months – 1 year of experience and demonstrated success in sales
  • Demonstrates desire to develop long term sales career
  • Proven worth ethic and ability to work independently and successfully with minimal direction
  • Strong communication skills including writing, listening and speaking
  • Passionate, self-motivated, competitive, resourceful, ambitious, and intelligent
  • Able to work in the headquarters office located in Chicago, IL
  • Able to remain in a stationary position, either sitting or standing, for a prolonged periods of time
  • Able to move about the office to access common equipment such as filing cabinets, copier, printer, etc.
  • Able to move and lift objects up to 35 pounds
  • Able to travel domestically and/or internationally

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM software salesforce.com preferred

Responsibilities

  • Focus on cross-selling and up-selling Typenex Solutions
  • Promoting new Typenex Solutions to existing customer base
  • Focus on achieving sales goals and retention objectives
  • Demonstrates firm growth and command of technical, product and healthcare knowledge
  • Conduct customer attrition calls on a monthly basis and provide feedback on customer retention
  • Understands and manages Oracle database and Salesforce.com CRM on a daily basis to follow up with activities, customers, potential customers and customer orders
  • Team player who will assist Sales Team and refer opportunities in respective territories
  • Meet all daily, weekly, and monthly activity and sales goals
  • Strong focus on phone activity and call time
  • Establish relationships with customers and key players in industry (minimal travel)
  • Primary contact for existing customers and related customer calls
  • Assist customer service department on processing all phone, GHX, fax, email or chat orders in a timely and professional manner
  • Process all customer returns in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist Typenex Quality and Regulatory Affairs department in the receipt and response to customer complaints or feedback in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with Typenex initiatives such as marketing, surveys, and product launches
