About The Position

The Account Manager demonstrates exceptional communication skills, strong horticultural expertise, and proven ability to deliver outstanding services to discerning clients. This role requires a keen eye for quality, attention to detail, and the ability to manage relationships with sophisticated clientele.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in landscape services or account management, preferably with high‑end residential clients.
  • Strong horticultural knowledge with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications and related systems.
  • Strong leadership skills; organized, self‑motivated, and accountable.
  • Valid CA Driver’s License, insurable by company standards.
  • Ability to pass a background screening as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in horticulture, landscape management, or related field preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • ReScape Certify, QAC, CIC, CLT, QAL or others.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and develop Crew Leaders and maintenance staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development and retention.
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard team members.
  • Ensure adherence to procedures, documentation, and company policies.
  • Manage and develop client accounts for luxury residential properties, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and vendors to coordinate landscape maintenance and enhancement projects.
  • Provide expert guidance on horticultural practices, plant selection, and sustainable landscape solutions.
  • Oversee quality assurance, ensuring all work meets Gachina’s standards and client expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-end clientele, understanding their unique needs and preferences.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and account growth through proactive client engagement.
  • Resolve issues swiftly and professionally, maintaining Gachina’s reputation for excellence.
  • Occasional low key landscape design skills required.
  • Ensure work meets quality, safety, and company standards.
  • Monitor productivity, job costs, and profitability within assigned accounts.
  • Manage extra billable work to ensure timely completion and accurate billing.
  • Oversee crews to meet contract requirements and business goals.
