About The Position

Natco is seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our Floor Coverings Product Management team. This is a hybrid position based out of our West Warwick, RI corporate headquarters. The Account Manager plays a key role in managing customer accounts and ensuring the accurate setup and execution of product orders under the direction of the Senior Product Manager. This position serves as the primary liaison between suppliers and internal teams, overseeing product data management, documentation review, and order coordination.

Requirements

  • An associate degree is required; a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant industry experience will also be considered
  • Prior experience in account management or related customer-facing role is preferred
  • Verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally across all levels of the organization and external suppliers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel; SharePoint experience preferred
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple shifting priorities under tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced work environment
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Math and analytical skills
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across departments
  • Proactive, deadline-driven, and able to anticipate and respond to work needs

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of product orders
  • Enter and maintain accurate product information for accounts, including SKUs, costs, pricing, weights, dimensions, and supplier details for imported items
  • Review all vendor and customer orders to confirm item specifications and documentation requirements
  • Set-up and maintain organized customer account records in SharePoint
  • Communicate order information such as cost and delivery dates to internal cross-functional teams
  • Coordinate and track sample requests from suppliers for the sales team
  • Monitor packaging requirements and coordinate with suppliers to secure timely approvals and on-time shipments of these items
  • Collaborate with the Compliance team to confirm all product testing requirements are met prior to shipment
  • Manage a high volume of emails, promptly researching and resolving issues as they arise to maintain smooth account operations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform all other duties as directed by the Senior Product Manager
