About The Position

In the role, the candidate will be assigned specific tasks on accounts within an existing territory to retain, per direction from manager and communicate with customer base as well as ChemTreat Account Managers and other representatives of company. The candidate will be responsible for creating, improving, and implementing innovative sales strategies to drive ChemTreat’s position and increase share within the assigned geography. They will develop key relationships with customers, identify key decision makers, research prospects, and partner with senior staff for cold calling and follow-up. The role involves increasing sales and profit margin within the territory, engaging technical staff and management for retention and growth strategies, and establishing professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. The position also includes learning to create effective proposals, communicating the ChemTreat value proposition, troubleshooting technical and site-specific process issues, auditing key unit operations, and participating in customer entertainment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science; Engineering or technical degree required or equivalent 4-6 years of relevant experience.
  • 4-6 years of experience interacting with customers at all levels of an organization.
  • Organizational skills; Self-management.
  • Self-motivated with a strategic mindset.
  • Balance of self-confidence and humility.
  • Ability to be a team player and partner well with others.
  • Ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (emails, comprehensive service reports, proposals, etc.).
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Industry knowledge specific to water treatment including familiarity with various applications.

Responsibilities
