About The Position

We are seeking an Outside Sales Account Manager to drive new business and grow existing accounts within our Transport Refrigeration (TRU) division. This role focuses on developing strong B2B relationships, expanding market share, and delivering profitable growth within a defined territory. This is a field-based, customer-facing role requiring a self-starter with strong sales acumen and the ability to operate independently.

Requirements

  • 25+ years of B2B outside sales or account management experience
  • Strong sales acumen with the ability to identify and close opportunities
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in the field
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in transportation, fleet services, trucking, equipment, or related industries preferred
  • Bachelors degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new B2B customers within the transportation, logistics, and fleet industries
  • Build and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue and margin targets
  • Actively pursue opportunities in refrigerated transport, trailer, and HVAC equipment market
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with fleet customers
  • Understand customer operations and align solutions to support their business goals
  • Drive repeat business and account growth through consistent engagement
  • Partner with internal teams (service, parts, operations) to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Present solutions, prepare quotes, and close deals aligned with company pricing and margin goals
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking within CRM
  • Stay informed on competitor activity, pricing, and industry trends within the TRU and fleet space
  • Identify opportunities to expand market presence and improve competitive positioning
  • Travel locally within assigned territory (Clark County) to meet with customers and prospects
  • Manage time effectively between field visits and administrative responsibilities
