About The Position

Job Purpose: Our Program Manager will be responsible for managing a critical Customer Portfolio of large scale, multi-million dollar ($25 - $50M), complex assigned accounts across a designated business segment, by providing focused business support and solutions for costing/pricing renewals, account analysis, documentation and communication. This position will also be responsible for engaging in initiatives to include profitability, cost savings, and sales growth working with our Sales Team. Job Responsibilities: ● Manage portfolio of complex, high profile business projects, to include high level customer facing interaction. ● Effectively implement department processes and procedures. At times, provide assistance for team members to address customer, pricing, department and procedural issues. ● Responsible for customer program execution to include: contract terms and conditions, pricing renewals, program changes, onboarding, and e-business projects. ● Key contact for tactical account issues both external and internal, including some direct customer interfacing. Heavy interaction with internal Veritiv corporate depts.; Sales/Sales Mgmt, Customer Service, Operations, Tax, Legal, Credit, Finance etc. ● Manage Customer pricing per contract guidelines for account margin and renewal/increase/decrease process to ensure market competitiveness and maximum profitability. ● Participate in customer visits and strategic meetings with assigned account customer base and sales team to include QBR presentations and reporting, with moderate customer engagement and responsibility. ● Drive process and KPI improvements to meet or exceed benchmark values utilizing root cause and corrective action. ● Engage in account initiatives to maintain maximum profitability, including identifying targeted growth within account base, tracking opportunities and managing site audit initiatives. ● Other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned. Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications: ● Ability to present to a wide audience of Corporate Customer contacts. ● Motivated, creative problem solver that using critical thinking and resourcefulness. ● Serve as primary contact for assigned client account(s), providing high-level service and timely communication, supports client meetings, reporting and business recaps. ● Parters and international stakeholders and departments to manage global programs and ensure alignment, execution and delivery across regions (operations, sourcing, logistics, finance) ●Manage multiple projects simultaneously from kickoff through completion, including timelines, approvals, production milestones, project trackers, updates, and financial reporting ● Monitor project risks, resolve issues proactively, and escalate concerns when needed. ● 5+ years of account management, project management, or client services experience. ● Experience supporting retail, beauty, packaging, or promotional programs strongly preferred.

  • Experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).
  • Strong planning and organization skills are required.
