About The Position

The Account Manager will be an integral part of our sales team, executing sold campaigns and working as the main liaison between the content and sales team. The Account manager will handle customer communication and deliverables, find thorough and speedy solutions to potential issues, and maintain a positive relationship between both parties for future business ventures. The ideal candidate is a self-starter looking to make a difference with a growth company. This role is based in our NYC HQ in Midtown Manhattan. We encourage collaboration by working in the office 5 days per week. Requirements

  • 4-6 years of account management/client success experience (Podcast, YouTube, social media, and/or Sports media experience a plus)
  • Capable of multitasking and juggling several responsibilities simultaneously
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • You have experience working in client-facing roles, ideally with contacts at brands and media agencies.
  • You are entrepreneurial. You are here to help get things done. You understand that in a start-up environment, everyone wears multiple hats.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills as well as being resourceful, analytical, and adaptable
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.)
  • Ability to work out of the NYC HQ in Midtown Manhattan 5 days per week

Responsibilities

  • Manage the lifecycle of the entire client experience from pre-sale, campaign launch and recap while identifying upsell opportunities.
  • Act as the client advocate at all times, be passionate about Jomboy Media’s mission and the clients’ opportunities to enhance Jomboy Media’s purpose.
  • Build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with contacts, always striving to find the opportunities that best fit the individual needs of the client. Ensure all relationships are built on the basis of trust and respect.
  • Aid internal departments with client strategy sessions, building standard advertising products and packages.
  • Work with stakeholders to traffic ads across various platforms and communicate sales feedback with producers and talent.
  • Lead campaign set-up & execution, including kick-off calls, asset collection and notifying advertisers of campaign launch. Manage campaigns in our internal system (Monday.com).
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and explain product value while tracking delivery of advertising campaigns, suggest optimizations and send reporting/insights to partners.
  • Resolve any client complaints and prevent additional issues by improving processes.
