About The Position

Bestway USA is seeking a bilingual (Mandarin-English) Account Manager to join their U.S.-based sales team. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn. The position will support key account strategies and collaborate across departments, both domestically and internationally, under the guidance of the Sr. VP of Sales and account leadership. Over approximately two years, the role will provide hands-on experience with U.S. operations to fully understand the business, customers, and internal processes. Following this period, the position is expected to transition to Shanghai. Once relocated to Shanghai, the employee will no longer be a U.S. employee, and their compensation, benefits, and employment terms will follow local requirements. This role is suited for strong communicators who thrive in a team environment and are excited about international opportunities.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Mandarin is required for this role
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint
  • Detail oriented - able to produce accurate work, without needing extensive review and editing, to be presented or customer-ready information
  • Exceptional communication skills - able to make concepts and ideas understood concisely
  • Motivated and curious approach to work, while also possessing strong commitment to team environment dynamics
  • Commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement are essential
  • Must be highly organized
  • Cross-functional team player (sales, creative services, product development, etc.); ability to respectfully challenge the team to deliver upon customer commitments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • At least 2-3 years of account management or relevant business experience with overseas manufacturers required

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate fluency in reading, writing, and communicating effectively in Mandarin to support customer interactions, internal communications, cross collaboration, and strategic planning
  • Work together with account lead to ensure overall business strategies are effectively executed
  • Project manage business line review
  • Assist with creating presentation decks and meeting asset needs
  • Maintains highly efficient collaboration and communication between internal departments and overseas teams to ensure high level of customer satisfaction (relevant data, accurate, timely, well-presented)
  • Support ODM projects, samples, and mockups requests
  • Monitor and coordinate Private Label packaging
  • Work with overseas and ecommerce teams with item creation and ecommerce content set up to ensure content score is up to customer’s expectation
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support presentations and customer's specific needs
  • Notice and recommend areas for penetration, including new product categories, feature or price point gaps, and line extensions
