The Account Manager will build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and grow the territory revenue of the Standards business, with a primary focus in the Reference Materials and Analytical Standards product lines. The role involves owning assigned commercial accounts and strategic site-level locations, representing the entire LGC Standards portfolio across all end-markets (Pharma, Biotech, Environmental, etc.) to build new and maintain existing account relationships. The Account Manager will identify and close new opportunities, involve additional LGC Standard’s team members as needed, collaborate with strategic account managers for planning and customer reviews, and use LGC’s sales tools to manage prospects, accounts, pipeline, and forecasts accurately. A key aspect of the role is developing an in-depth understanding of LGC products and their applications, meeting and exceeding sales targets, and actively engaging with customers through various channels to drive new sales and maintain CRM data. Additionally, the Account Manager will increase brand awareness by organizing and attending events and serving as a company representative.
