About The Position

Experience in the manufacturing industry is a requirement. Key Responsibilities: Protects sole source position at assigned customer accounts. Improves relationships and table stake metrics (Delivery, Quality & price) on assigned customer accounts. Responsible for timely completion of customer commercial requests for assigned customer accounts. Coordinates and communicates internally on customer insight, sales opportunities, and account activities, market intelligence, and issues. Develops and coordinates execution of Strategic Account Plans for assigned customer accounts. Builds new relationships and potential business opportunities targeted accounts. Your Purpose: Improve customer relationships and leads by increasing targeted face to face visits and customer touchpoints. Drive and maintain customer delivery metric to 97% on assigned accounts. Deliver Customer Activity weekly summary to Department Leadership, Executive Team, Product Engineering and Market teams. Contribute to the development of strategic account planning process and implement for assigned accounts to support organizational strategic plan and sales forecast. Proactively communicate customer related activity to ensure the proper follow-up takes place in a timely manner to meet their expectations. Developing strategic relationships at various levels of the customers’ organization (e.g., engineers, quality, marketing, purchasing, and executives). Finding new business opportunities and bringing in the appropriate colleagues to pursue these opportunities. Working with product engineering to identify product and market gaps at assigned customers and developing an approach to reduce/eliminate these gaps. Goals to Accomplish: Report on the number of monthly customer visits (engagements) vs. the planned by month by quarter. Capture and report customer and market intelligence and integrate customer insight on regulatory actions into the market development plan. Active participation and in the quarterly sales forecasting process. Engage in selected and strategic professional development offerings. Duties of Assignment: Provide quotations per customer requests. Coordinate supplier compliance requests with appropriate departments. Participate in business case development for new business opportunities. Provide timely responses to customer concerns/inquiries. Communicate critical customer information to relevant personnel. Deliver Customer Activity weekly summary to Exec and Market teams. Facilitate discussions around new products and new opportunities with both existing and new customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management.
  • Proven history of meeting and exceeding sales quotas and receiving positive customer feedback in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp mindfulness.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
