About The Position

The Account Manager manages existing customer business relationships to achieve budgeted sales goals by developing and implementing sound retention strategies, utilizing strong negotiation efforts to preserve business. The Account Manager will save, secure and convert by handling all customer cancellations requests, providing ongoing education of contract details to existing customers, and by obtaining customer contract commitments during face-to-face interactions. All escalations for customer service within the defined territory will be resolved through this position.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of proven experience as key account manager and providing customer support.
  • Preferably 10-Years environmental/ hazardous materials sales experience.
  • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Clean Driver Record (Will be driving for work)
  • Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • This role is expected to travel
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people.
  • Ability to problem solve and negotiate.
  • Computer experience with proficiency in the use of MS office suite of software applications i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably 10-Years environmental/ hazardous materials sales experience.
