About The Position

Alera Group is looking for an Employee Benefits Account Manager. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you! Mid to large group experience preferred. We are passionate about our clients’ success in the areas of Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services. Requirements

  • Life & Health Insurance License (or obtained within 90 days)
  • 2+ years of experience in employee benefits or insurance services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day client service and onboarding activities
  • Support renewal, RFP, and plan comparison processes
  • Maintain complete and accurate client files in CRM systems
  • Coordinate Open Enrollment meetings and employee communications
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client service delivery
  • Respond to client inquiries related to claims, billing, and eligibility
  • Ensure compliance documentation accuracy and adherence to internal processes
