About The Position

Corpay is currently looking to hire an Account Manager within our Customer Service team. This position falls under our NA Fuel line of business and is located in Brentwood, TN. In this role, you will oversee the daily operational functions for our network of truck stops and fueling stations that accept the Comdata card. You will report directly to the Manager of Merchant Services and regularly collaborate with customer service, sales, credit, contact center teams, and other internal stakeholders. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proven self-starter with strong self-motivation and ability to learn without formal classroom training
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and solving problems in “gray areas”
  • Patience and adaptability to master complex, technical processes and industry jargon
  • Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to navigate multiple systems (Salesforce, IBM DOS green screen)
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves and handle both high-level and detailed tasks
  • 1–3 years of previous operations, implementation, or account management experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with IBM DOS/Host AS400 green screen systems, preferred
  • Knowledge of fuel pricing terminology (Rack, Opus, cost-minus/cost-plus) preferred
  • Experience in merchant services, transportation, or fuel industry operations, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Managing daily merchant operations for fueling locations (e.g., Loves, TA, Quick Trip, Flying J) that accept the Comdata card
  • Resolving unpaid ticket issues and ensuring timely settlement with merchants
  • Setting up, modifying, and cleaning up merchant discounts and rate changes
  • Coordinating new site connectivity and resolving VPN issues for merchants
  • Building, maintaining, and delivering reports to merchants and internal stakeholders
  • Managing merchant department queues and tasks in Salesforce
  • Utilizing IBM DOS-based Host AS400 green screen system for network and discount setup
  • Collaborating closely with customer service, sales, credit, and contact center teams to ensure customer processes and commitments are met
  • Tracking and reporting key performance indicators for leadership review
  • Participating in succession planning and contributing to process improvement initiatives
