About The Position

We are seeking an Account Manager to pursue new business opportunities and support existing business opportunities with Fortune 100 brands and retailers, with an emphasis on companies in the Beauty sector. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Manage the execution of large-scale physical retail programs, often spanning multiple retail channels and global regions, leveraging a global footprint of manufacturing, logistics, and program management resources. Translate new retail concepts into scalable retail solutions, by using internal skills in developing, engineering, and market-testing client-driven concepts. Create new retail experiences, using our research, strategy, and design capabilities to invent new-to-the-world retail concepts. Lead the activity and create new business within an established account. Effectively approach high-level client targets in retail operations, procurement, marketing, and design. Meet with clients to consultatively understand their business priorities and issues. Through a consultative approach, collaborate with clients to provide solutions to their business needs. Utilize resources within RTC to solve client problems and build working relationships and revenues. Nurture direct and indirect leadership in a productive and teamwork-oriented fashion. Demonstrate common business sense decision-making during daily activity. Coordinate internal resources, manage communications, prioritization, and program resolution related to the account. Work closely with department leaders to ensure that assigned projects meet both RTC’s and the client's overall objectives. Develop specific project plans and coordinate development activities required to meet RTC commitments related to project requirements.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of retail fixture experience, ideally in a team-based environment; related industry experience is a plus.
  • We are in the business of relationship sales. Appropriate communication skills are essential to success.
  • Experience and demonstrated success working with senior level executives.
  • Travel is required depending on the client’s business needs (domestic and international).
  • Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Working knowledge of varied manufacturing processes and materials preferred.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Reasoning ability, and financial aptitude with an understanding of costs and pricing strategies.
  • Proven strength in written and verbal communication skills (customer-focused) and computer literacy.
