The Account Executive assists with the overall account management and sales efforts, including sales and retention strategies and execution activities (where applicable). We are looking to hire an individual who can provide support and drive results across an experienced Account Management team, while also beginning to establish account management responsibilities on emerging accounts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years' related job experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or a related field
  • Experience working with moderately complex territories/accounts, products, and services
  • Superb writing and communication skills
  • Knowledge of financial markets and the financial services industry
  • Familiarity with the regulatory communications process
  • Personable, with excellent listening and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed

Responsibilities

  • Assist and help maintain the strategic aspects of enterprise-wide client relationships
  • Perform account planning to ensure active relationship management and identify whitespace opportunities for maximum revenue retention and sales growth
  • Support renewal of existing products/services and uncover up-sell opportunities
  • Identify and leverage thought leadership content for deeper client engagement
  • Act as a liaison with internal Business, Product, Sales, and Client Relations teams
  • Participate in client outreach and have direct contact with clients
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies to help drive retention and growth
  • Begin to independently plan approaches to assigned accounts
  • Maintain close collaboration with colleagues to support all aspects of the account management process
