About The Position

The Account Manager Relief is responsible for selling and ordering product for customer accounts. Serves as the frontline liaison and ensures customer satisfaction is achieved. This role is responsible for rotating company product by date, both out in the market and in inventory. Aids the merchandising team by keeping products stocked and available onsite.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum of two years of work experience required.
  • Basic computer application and technology skills required.
  • Valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, driving record within policy guidelines including no major violations within the last three years.
  • Must be open to flexible schedule; may be required to work some holidays to meet customer demands.
  • Proof of insurance covering business use is required at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a retail environment or in a sales position being held accountable for sales targets preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Orders product at accounts on an assigned sales route. Determines product needs and places and transmits appropriate orders for each one. Utilizes technology for order processing and inventory and other applications pertinent to the success of the job.
  • Executes and sells big event marketing, pillar programming, innovation, and mandated features and ad activity to ensure customer satisfaction and company standards are being met. May sell in Customer Marketing Agreements (CMA).
  • Builds, changes, and removes product displays and POS (Point of Sale). Ensures proper pricing. Cleans product space and secures damaged or defective product. Repacks product when/where possible. Transports, replaces, and maintains POS advertising as appropriate for the account.
  • Communicates account activities with the customer to ensure quality and timely service. Works with and collaborates internally with merchandisers and drivers; maintains communication about goals, projects, and day-to-day needs of accounts.
  • Ensures consistent adherence to merchandising and customer service standards. Stocks and merchandises products in the allocated beverage section including coolers, racks, and secondary displays.
  • Maintains end-to-end ownership of the account through appropriate action and/or communication.
