About The Position

Spectrum Paint, the largest independent paint company in the US, is currently looking for highly motivated sales professionals. This is a great opportunity to earn a rewarding salary with a rapidly expanding company already operating in 14 states. The Account Manager will be responsible for expanding the Company's business within pre-assigned territories. This position is accountable for achieving sales goals through acquiring and developing new customers and expanding the product line within the existing customer base. Develop and target regional accounts and prospects with the Regional Sales Manager to achieve contract, revenue growth, account milestone objectives, and activity expectations within an assigned account/geography.

Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Must be able to drive the company vehicle

Territory Management Experience a plus

Responsibilities

Servicing customers and developing sales in a designated territory.
Establishing new accounts by discovering business opportunities and calling on new customers.
Giving product recommendations, application instructions, and quoting competitive pricing on coatings for the architectural, commercial, and industrial fields.
Placing orders on behalf of customers and following up to ensure that orders have been completed promptly.
Working with the Store Manager and other store employees to ensure customer needs are met or exceeded.
Maintaining regular contact with customers to understand needs and identify business opportunities.
Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.
Ensuring all internal reporting is completed in a timely fashion with correct information.
Regularly communicating with Regional Sales Management regarding the status and progress of accounts.
Encouraging and developing a team culture with store team members.
Actively establishing and building strong relationships with external and internal partners.
Other duties as assigned by the Regional Sales Management Team.
