About The Position

This role is responsible for servicing customers and developing sales in a designated territory. The Account Manager/Sales Representative will establish new accounts by discovering business opportunities and calling on new customers. Responsibilities include providing product recommendations, application instructions, and competitive pricing on coatings for architectural, commercial, and industrial fields. The position involves placing orders on behalf of customers, following up to ensure prompt completion, and collaborating with the Store Manager and other employees to meet or exceed customer needs. Maintaining regular customer contact to understand needs and identify business opportunities, resolving customer complaints, and ensuring timely and accurate internal reporting are key duties. The role also requires regular communication with Regional Sales Management regarding account status and progress, fostering a team culture, and building strong relationships with external and internal partners. Other duties may be assigned by the Regional Sales Management Team.

  • Able to pass a drug screen and background and MVR check.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to drive the company vehicle.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred but not required.
  • Territory Management Experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Store Manager and other store employees to ensure customer needs are met or exceeded.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers to understand needs and identify business opportunities.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.
  • Ensure all internal reporting is completed in a timely fashion with correct information.
  • Regularly communicate with Regional Sales Management regarding the status and progress of accounts.
  • Encourage and develop a team culture with store team members.
  • Actively establish and build strong relationships with external and internal partners.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Regional Sales Management Team.
