About The Position

The Account Manager will be responsible for expanding the Company's business within pre-assigned territories. This position is accountable for achieving sales goals through the acquisition and development of new customers and expansion of the product line within the existing customer base. Develop and target regional accounts and prospects in conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager to achieve contract, revenue growth, account milestone objectives, and activity expectations within an assigned account/geography.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred but not required
  • Territory Management Experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Servicing customers and developing sales in a designated territory.
  • Establishing new accounts by discovering business opportunities and calling on new customers.
  • Giving product recommendations, application instructions, and quoting competitive pricing on coatings for the architectural, commercial, and industrial fields.
  • Placing orders on behalf of customers and following up to ensure that orders have been completed promptly.
  • Working with Store Manager and other store employees to ensure customer needs are met or exceeded.
  • Maintaining regular contact with customers to understand needs and identify business opportunities.
  • Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.
  • Ensuring all internal reporting is completed in a timely fashion with correct information.
  • Regularly communicating with Regional Sales Management regarding the status and progress of accounts.
  • Encouraging and developing a team culture with store team members.
  • Actively establishing and building strong relationships with external and internal partners.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Regional Sales Management Team.
