About The Position

Steele Insurance Associates, an independent property & casualty insurance agency, is looking for a consultant-minded insurance agent to join our growing team. At Steele Insurance Associates, serving commercial and personal insurance clients since 1948, we believe in and practice the following: Epic Search for Understanding - seeking to understand our clients' risk exposures and know the available insurance coverage to adequately protect against that risk. Our Account Managers build long-lasting relationships with our clients, and become the primary point-of-contact for their insurance needs. Not just transactional, we are relied upon to provide an exceptional client experience, from risk assessment and new-client onboarding through service opportunities, claims and working through the renewal process. Since we work with multiple insurance companies, we can assess the marketplace to provide our clients with the best combination of coverage and price. That involves becoming proficient with different carrier appetites and underwriting platforms to provide that winning solution. While we hang our hat on solving complex insurance problems that other Agencies can't, we do have minimum coverage standards above state-requirements and have certain classes of business that we do not pursue. Account managers develop a niche-focus so that they become a specialist in their field. A Quarterly Growth Bonus Pool ensures that all members of the team are focused on retaining and growing our current clients and adding new client relationships.
