This role involves identifying, evaluating, and consummating new and profitable business opportunities by expanding energy customers across residential, commercial, industrial, agriculture, alternative fuels, and mixed-use developments. The Account Manager II will work with new potential prospects to develop opportunities, display strong organizational and relationship selling abilities including cold calling, and coordinate with other company departments to evaluate opportunities and develop marketing campaigns. The position also requires evaluating and presenting alternative energy equipment applications, preparing short and long-term energy and cost analyses, and coordinating with internal departments to resolve customer service issues and new installations. Key responsibilities include initiating and maintaining relationships with land developers, builders, engineering firms, and economic development groups, as well as developing and maintaining knowledge of propane and natural gas systems installation and compliance with federal and local codes. The role also involves developing existing customer retention analyses, communications, and negotiations, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance, and maintaining excellent internal and external customer service.
