Our client is currently seeking to recruit a fully qualified Accountant to join their Senior Management team and lead the Accounts Department. This role is suited to a highly organised and motivated professional who is ready to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years’ experience within a similar firm. The selected candidate will work alongside other managers and will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, as well as overseeing the accounting team. A strong command of both written and spoken English is essential, while knowledge of Italian will be considered an asset. The Accounts Department focuses on delivering accounting and VAT compliance services to corporate clients, including the preparation of management accounts, VAT returns, and statutory submissions. The firm operates an office in Victoria, Gozo, allowing Gozo-based employees the option to work from that location. Additionally, employees may benefit from remote working arrangements on agreed dates.
