About The Position

McKesson is seeking an Account Manager, Full Line Manufacturer Engagement Services, to lead and expand relationships with over 75 brand pharmaceutical manufacturers. This role is responsible for managing product lifecycles, executing launch excellence, and driving profitability through strategic promotional buying. The manager will serve as the primary liaison between manufacturers and McKesson, navigating internal teams to ensure seamless execution and high customer satisfaction. This position also offers opportunities to lead enterprise-wide initiatives focused on process improvement and enhancing manufacturer engagement.

Requirements

  • Degree in related field is highly preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Project management and contract implementation experience.
  • Excellent relationship management and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive results.
  • Financial acumen and supply chain knowledge.
  • Professional written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Manage onboarding, product launches, lifecycle changes, and purchasing restrictions.
  • Deliver launch excellence for high-priority products through strategic planning and oversight.
  • Act as the primary liaison between manufacturers and McKesson.
  • Assist manufacturers in navigating the McKesson enterprise.
  • Participate in quarterly business reviews and support new value creation opportunities.
  • Provide product information and support to Sales and Customer Service teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage class of trade restrictions, inventory levels, returns, contract pricing, chargebacks, reporting, and financial processing.
  • Track and manage issues proactively through to resolution.
  • Lead and participate in enterprise projects focused on process efficiency/improved manufacturer engagement.
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Business Development, Procurement, and Operations on supply chain optimization, reporting, governance, and planning.
