The Account Manager is responsible for executing the company's direct sales strategy and sales plans within their assigned territory to achieve territory sales revenue and budget objectives. They will train Acclarent-trained physicians during their initial procedures to provide guidance, gather procedure data, and recommend training certification when ready, and provide customer feedback on the Company's products to Marketing. The Account Manager is expected to achieve sales quotas each quarter and year for specific product categories. This role involves selling Acclarent ENT products to customers in the clinic, ASC, and Hospital setting. The Account Manager will become a clinical expert on the Acclarent ENT portfolio to bring value and expertise to the surgical suite and procedures. They are charged with growing market share within the territory by increasing the utilization of Acclarent ENT products with current customers and converting physicians that currently use competitive ENT products. A hunger to learn, compete, hunt and win is essential. A high-capacity salesperson is needed with a solutions-oriented mindset that is coachable and able to receive feedback and execute a plan. The role includes maintaining records in the Acclarent CRM system on contacts and facilities, understanding the Company's Quality Policy and Quality System requirements applicable to tasks performed, and ensuring compliance with Quality System requirements. The ENT Consultant will be expected to have accurate and on-time completion of the weekly and quarterly planning tools, as well as accurate and timely reconciliation of emergency stock on a monthly basis. Other responsibilities may be required or assigned by a manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 3 years of outside sales experience OR experience in clinical service or direct clinical support of physicians and healthcare providers is required.
  • Valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 United States and a clean driving record
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Ability to work within a commission-driven, growth-minded position with the ability to meet and exceed sales goals
  • The ability to travel as necessary, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel is required.
  • 2+ years of experience in medical device sales (capital selling experience preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience selling to surgeons in an operating room environment, preferably with experience calling on ENTs
  • Experience introducing market development programs to physician practices
  • Strong local relationships within the healthcare community in the specified geographic area
  • Candidate must live within 30 miles from the territory center
